Markets & Box Scheme

Troed y Rhiw offers a weekly or fortnightly box of fresh, seasonal organic produce direct to your door. We deliver to a range of towns within a 25 mile radius of the farm including Aberaeron, New Quay, Llandysul, Newcastle Emlyn, Drefach Felindre and Newport, Pembrokeshire. Outside this range, you can pick your box up from the farm or we may be able to arrange a pick up a local pick-up point.

Box sizes available:

  • Small box (1–2 people) at £12
  • Large box (2-4 people) at £16.50
  • Extra large box for large families or people who really like their veg at £20.

Freshness is a priority for our produce. We aim to pick and deliver our produce to you within 24 hours. Staying local allows us to keep the taste that freshness delivers. If there are things you don’t like, we can accommodate up to two exclusions in vegetable boxes. All produce is Soil Association organically certified.

From June–December, produce is taken wholly from what is grown on the farm and includes some of the best tomatoes you’ll ever eat and a wide range of vegetables from cucumbers, courgettes, and french beans, to patty pan squash, cavolo nero kale and Japanese aubergines. During summer, we also do a range of soft fruit including strawberries, raspberries, black currants and gooseberries.

From January–May, farm produce is supplemented by other Welsh, UK and occasionally European organic growers.

What’s in my box?
Our box scheme is always focused on seasonal produce. Download a monthly list of what might be turning up on your table throughout the year. If there’s something you don’t recognise, feel free to email or ring us and we’ll tell you what it is and how to use it.

Recipes
To help make the most of your box, we’ve detailed a selection of seasonal recipes. The recipes are tried and tested and for the most part, simple to make. It’s a great way to explore new vegetables or expand your repertoire for cooking.
